Telugu leading actor Mahesh babu married to Bollywood actress and former Femina Miss India Namrata Shirodkar on February 10, 2005 in Mumbai. They have two children, son Gautam Krishna (born on 31 August 2006) and daughter Sitara (born on 20 July 2012).

Namrata was to deliver her second baby @ 8.20 AM in Somajiguda hospital on July 20, on the auspicious day of 'Sravana Sukravaram', which has excited the couple.

Namrata Shirodkar says : Me and my hubby Mahesh Babu always wanted a baby girl. Now, we are all thrilled with the arrival of the baby girl. She also confirmed that they are going to name their second child "Sitara".
