Rajesh Khanna was an most popular Indian film actor, producer and a politician. He was appeared in Hindi films. He was born on 29 December 1942 in Amritsar, Punjab, India.

Rajesh Khanna was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on 23 June 2012 due to some health complications. He was discharged on 8 July 2012 from the hospital and was reported to be fine. Rajesh Khanna was readmitted to the Lilavati hospital On 14 July 2012 but was discharged on 17 July.

Superstar Rajesh Khanna passed away on 18 July 2012, Wednesday afternoon at his residence Aashirwad in Mumbai. He was 69. He had been battling prolonged illness for a long time and finally had to bow down to it.

He breathed his last in the presence of his wife Dimple Kapadia, daughters Rinkie and Twinkle, son-in-law Akshay Kumar, grand children and close relatives.
