Eligibility for MAT
While the participating universities and management institutes have their own requirements about certain minimum % age in graduation, you can appear in MAT, if you are:
- A Graduate from any recognized University in any discipline, or
- Studying in final year of their undergraduate degree course from a recognized institution.
Test Format
The exam has five sections in all. Scores of first four sections constitute the final scores. However, institutions might choose to consider the score of the General Awareness section. Total Duration: 150 minutes

Aaptharakshaka is an upcoming Indian Kannada horror film written and directed by P. Vasu. Vishnuvardhan, Sandhya, Vimala Raman, Avinash, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy and Komal in the lead roles.
The film is a sequel to the 2004 blockbuster film Apthamitra that was directed by P. Vasu.
Vishnuvardhan died following a cardiac attact on 30th Dec 2009. Vishnu has completed the voice dubbing.

Chindodi Leela (72 years) passed away at a private hospital here on Thursday night. She was suffering heart-related ailments and had undergone a bypass surgery recently.
Chindodi Leela has been Associated with Kannada theatre for over six decades, she had also acted in blockbuster films like Sharapanjara, directed by Puttanna Kanagal, and Tumbida Koda and Gaanayogi Panchakshari Gavayi.

Sir Isaac Newton was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologian who is perceived and considered by a substantial number of scholars and the general public as one of the most influential scientists in history.

Died : 31 March 1727 (aged 84) Kensington, Middlesex, England
Newton is generally credited with the generalized binomial theorem, valid for any exponent. He discovered Newton's identities, Newton's method, classified cubic plane curves
Newton lectured on optics. During this period he investigated the refraction of light, demonstrating that a prism could decompose white light into a spectrum of colours, and that a lens and a second prism could recompose the multicoloured spectrum into white light.
Newton returned to his work on mechanics, i.e., gravitation and its effect on the orbits of planets, with reference to Kepler's laws of planetary motion.
