Cochin haneefa is an Indian film actor, director, and screenwriter. He started his career in the 1970's as a villain and turned to be one of the popular comedians of Malayalam film industry.

He has done more than 300 films in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi films.

cochin haneefa was recently hospitalized at Ramachandra Hospital Chennai due to liver problem, is in a very critical condition. Haneefa, aged 58 years, died at a hospital on Tuesday afternoon. According to sources, the actor also had a massive heart attack in the hospital.
