Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is a public sector telecommunication company in India. It is India's largest telecommunication company with, 24% market share as on March 31, 2008.

BSNL provides internet services through dial-up connection as Prepaid, (NetOne) as Postpaid and ADSL broadband (BSNL Broadband).
BSNL has around 50% market share in broadband in India. BSNL has planned aggressive rollout in broadband for current financial year.

BSNL Broadband is a broadband internet service from state owned BSNL in India since 14 January, 2005.

The BSNL Broadband Service is available throughout India, in all cities, towns and even in main villages. It was known as Data One.
