Kathleen Parker is an American syndicated columnist and conservative political commentator. Her columns frequently focus on family, sex roles, and race. Her column is syndicated nationally by The Washington Post Writers Group. Parker is a consulting faculty member at the Buckley School of Public Speaking, and makes appearances on television shows like The O'Reilly Factor and The Chris Matthews Show.
She is married to an attorney, has three sons, and currently resides in Camden, South Carolina. Her mother died when she was young, and she has had four stepmothers, and has been a stepmother herself.
